Step 1- Task Definition

  • Define the problem.
  • Ask yourself what do you want in the answer?

Step 2- Information Seeking Strategies

  • Determine what kind of sources is needed to answer the questions.
  • Ask yourself what media would be the best place to look in?

Step 3- Locating the answer

  • Locate your sources.
  • Find needed information in sources.
  • Ask yourself what have I read or saw that has given me the answer?

Step 4- Process Information

  • Process the information from your sources.
  • Create product and evaluate your answers.
  • Ask yourself what is the easiest way for me to organize and display the information for me?
